Now: Girl, Twirling

This is more “now-ish” than strictly now. Tonight, as Eleanor was trying to help us forget she needed a bath, she found a hula hoop in our neighbor’s garage. She was really hoping to hide, but couldn’t keep her delight in the discovery. She yelled for me to come see her and the “hoopaloop.” It was so very cute, and I didn’t have my camera or my phone

with me.

This photo of her a classmate’s birthday party a few weeks ago will have to do. She was feeling similarly twirly, though I’m not sure anything can compare to a “hoopaloop.”

[UPDATE:  Due to an alleged trademark violation I have changed the title of this post. A quick visit with Mr Google reveals this one has bigger fish to fry, but since my BlogHerAds revenue in the last two years wouldn't pay for a single item at the business I am allegedly damaging, I certainly can't afford the attorney's fees for this.     You can verify this by going to: http://tarr.uspto.gov/ and putting in the number 77078495.

    I am sure you are not aware that you are in violation by using TwirlyGirl (or Twirly Girl). It could also be seen as an attempt to capitalize on our trademarked brand “TwirlyGirl” which we have
    spent the last 3 years building.

    Respectfully, I am asking that you discontinue the use of TwirlyGirl (or Twirly Girl) at
    (http://clumberkim.com/2010/06/06/now-twirly-gir... ) and refrain from
    using Twirly Girl or TwirlyGirl in the future or anything similar. My goal is not to harm your business or stifle you in any way, but only to protect our trademark.

    We can give you 1 week to make this change everywhere it is used in commerce including
    Blogspot/Facebook/Websites, etc. If not changed by June 14, 2010 we will be forced to take
    other action.

    I so appreciate your cooperation in this matter. Please let me know that you received this
    notice and plan to comply.
