Friends…I’m back. At least I think I’m back. I was able to log in, something I was not at all sure I would be able to do, so I got that goin’ for me, which is nice.
I decided this lengthy hiatus should end with a new project. A new 365-type project. Insanity abounds, I tell [...]
When last I darkened this blog’s door the baseball playoffs were getting underway, and the Red Sox were not among those still in the hunt. The baseball season is over when the Red Sox are done, at least for me. (Someday I hope to say “when the Red Sox and Pirates are done” but for [...]
No, oh HELL no, I’m not pregnant. Remember? But we are going to have a new family member in a few weeks. I plan to tease you a bit before then. Make that a lot. Mercilessly. I wanted to go get him as soon as our foster dog went to his forever home but we [...]
I have neglected this blog for too long. It’s not that nothing has happened. Too much has happened. Too many entirely blog-worthy things. It’s the words that didn’t happen. It’s not you. It’s me.
Here are the highlights, so to speak, in mostly chronological order:

Go on, tell me! Who are you?
You know way too much about me already.

Tomorrow this blog will be five years old. It started on another platform (Blogger), with another name (Three Dogs and a Baby), for the sole purpose of sharing news and photos of my new baby with family far away.
I never imagined the new world this blog would open. It’s been a gateway to so many [...]
More wrestling with WordPress. More like one step forward and two steps back. Almost ready to call in reinforcements. Almost.
November wasn’t enough. No. NaBloPoMo became Blog365 (which sucked the will to live right out of me a couple of years ago) and now there are monthly themes with which to torture oneself. I have been deleting the monthly emails about the themes in a nearly religious fashion, including the one that arrived for June.
Tomorrow has come to be known to a number of Pittsburgh bloggers as “hair day.” We’ve been invited by Divinity Salon to come on over for cuts and color and loads of fun. Sounds great! And yet…
Since moving to Pittsburgh, only one person has touched my hair, with the exception of my wedding day. Can [...]
